Fire Door Expert promoted at Warrington Certification

Warrington Certification, the independent non-profit making company through which Exova promotes UKAS accredited certification of fire protection products and services, has promoted Dominic Hankinson to the position of Principal Certification Engineer.
Dominic, who has been with Warrington Certification and Exova Warringtonfire for 13 years is experienced in technical approvals and third party certification for a wide range of passive fire protection products but specialises in pedestrial doorsets, lift landing doorsets, suspended ceilings and fire/smoke curtains. He is an active memeber of several European and UK standards committees relating to the fire resistance of doors and fire curtains.
In his new role, Dominic will be involved in the CE marking of passive fire protection products as well as supporting the development of Warrington Certification's voluntary certification scheme, CERTIFIRE.
