Exova Appoints Automotive Lock Expert as Senior Engineer

The automotive testing business of Exova, now based at the companys architectural products testing site (APT) in Wolverhampton has appointed Richard Evans, an automotive lock design and development expert as its new Senior Project Engineer
With more than 27 years experience in design, development, problem solving and project management iwth Land Rover, Jaguar, Bentley and LDV, Richard oversees Exova's automotive test team as will as being the primary contact for the company's automotive industry clients.
Richard's expertise lies in the area of door mechanisms, primarily locks and latches along with the security requirements to go with them. He is also experienced in managing, from design to production, window lift systems, glazing sealing, sunroofs and exterior finishers.
Hayden Parry, General Manager of Exova's APT Division said:
"Richards experience with some of the biggest names in automotive, along with specific expertise in door locking devices, will be invaluable as Exova expands its product testing business in this field"
