In supporting the Secured by Design event being held in Manchester (January 31- February 2), Exova Warringtonfire is committed to the very best in terms of ensuring quality in testing regimes to help protect property and people effectively.

The programme is broken up into a variety of seminars and presentations, with Exova Warringtonfire highlighting its CERTISECURE scheme which helps all of those involved to combat the latest methods criminals are employing within this field.

The fundamental benefit of CERTISECURE is in giving the regulator, specifier, customer and end-user confidence with regards to the stated performance of the product as well as providing an informed choice when purchasing or selecting the product.

The exhibition attracts attention from delegates before and after the conference presentations and provides an opportunity for exhibitors to speak to police staff and members of the national network of crime prevention professionals who are responsible for specifying products and delivering the Secured by Design initiative nationally to the community.

Commander David Zinzan, Association of Chief Police Officers’ Lead on Crime Prevention, will give the welcome speech at the event, being staged at The Palace Hotel, Manchester.

Increasingly, specifiers and end users are concerned that doors and windows can easily be opened by burglars and manufacturers are striving to improve the security of doorsets and windows to combat this rising issue.
