Reaction to Fire tests are used to evaluate the contribution of a material to fire growth. The tests tend to be smaller in scale and are used on specific components or materials. The test specimens are representatives of items that maybe exposed to a growing fire: room contents, furniture, wall and ceiling linings, etc. Reaction to fire tests are commonly called up in codes and regulations in both the building and transport sectors.

Exova Warringtonfire testing can undertake a full range of reaction-to-fire tests to meet both the national and international needs.
