APT Laboratories Ltd was incorporated into the Warringtonfire group in January 2001. Exova Warringtonapt is dedicated to the mechanical testing of architectural building products, principally building hardware, doors and windows.

Exova Warringtonapt is UKAS accredited for testing of building hardware and doors in support of European legislation, and through this we are able to offer a totally confidential and impartial testing service for clients as the new European standards are introduced.

Exova Warringtonapt is also officially designated as a notified body(EC number 1104) by the european commission for testing under the construction products directive 89/106/EEC. Nando-CPD website

Our laboratory engineers are particularly well qualified and experienced in their respective fields, and when this knowledge is combined with our other activities in trade association and technical/legislative standards work, the testing facilities of Exova Warringtonapt can offer unmatched technical knowledge and assistance to clients.
