Exova Warringtonfire - training and associated fire safety services
The actual performance of fire protection systems will only be determined when a fire actually occurs. Consequently, the installation of the specialist materials used in the fire protection systems on site must follow a proven specification if the system is to perform as anticipated.
The training provided by Exova Warringtonfire will prove beneficial to architects, fire officers, specifiers, building control officers, etc. within the construction industry and also the ‘Responsible Person’ defined by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. The courses provide valuable, specialist knowledge to enable construction industry professionals to make informed decisions with respect to fire protection related designs/specifications.
The courses are divided into modules that allow applicants to choose their individual requirements. Most modules are offered at two levels – beginners and advanced. With over forty years of fire protection experience Exova Warringtonfire is the ideal place to gain the underpinning knowledge required not only for the construction industry but for all aspects of fire safety.
The course is generally composed of a half-day ‘Core’ module comprising an introduction to the Exova Warringtonfire group, building regulations, fire and fire testing.
The optional modules are approximately half a day each and include topics such as the following:
We can design a specific training programme to suit your exact needs then deliver at a time and place convenient to you or alternatively, at a location chosen by us.
The training service has the support of Exova Warringtonfire which is the largest independent fire testing and assessment organisation, with extensive experience in all areas of fire protection.
