Training
NEW: Fire Door Maintenance and Repair module. The module looks at the upkeep of doorsets, primarily timber doors, once installed and as required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, 2005.
NEW: Passive Fire Protection for Risk Assessors (1 day course). The 1 day course looks at the various topics under passive fire protection as covered by the competency criteria for risk assessors with the intention of identifying any major failings provided by the existing systems.

The training courses provide valuable, specialist knowledge to enable construction industry professionals to make informed decisions with respect to fire protection related designs and specifications. The fire safety training courses are divided into modules that allow applicants to choose their individual requirements. Most modules are offered at two levels – beginners and advanced. The training is generally composed of a half-day ‘Core’ module, comprising an introduction to the Exova Warringtonfire group, Building Regulations, fire and fire testing, followed by the chosen product module(s).
