A new name for Warringtonfire - introducing Exova Warringtonfire
The Bodycote Testing Group (including Bodycote Warringtonfire) was purchased by the private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. (C, D & R) in 2008 from Bodycote plc. Part of the sale agreement permitted the Testing Group to use the Bodycote name for a period of 12 months. In the intervening period the company has been developing a new name and identity which reflects the vision, mission and values of the new business. The new name and logo will gradually be rolled out over the next few months. Use of the Bodycote name and logo will cease in October 2009.
For Warringtonfire, the new name will be Exova Warringtonfire. It has been decided to keep the Warringtonfire brand for the forseeable future as it is rightly recognised as being the leading independent fire safety testing, certification and consultancy organisation in the World.
